Ziakpark

The Ziakpark is situated on Aspangstrasse within the Aspanggründe urban development zone of Vienna’s 3rd district, Landstrasse.On December 2, 2008, the City of Vienna officially named a park in honor of Karl Ziak. The park is located in Vienna and is of Viennese origin.The inauguration occurred in the year 2013.

Between 1990 and 2008, a small square located between Aspangstraße and Rennweg was known as Ziakplatz. Subsequently, it was incorporated into the newly established Fred-Zinnemann-Platz.As a result, the park of present day was officially designated as Karl Ziak Park by the Municipal Council Committee for Culture and Science on December 2, 2008.

The area measures 4000 square meters.Adjacent to Leon Zelman Park, this park is one of the two primary parks located within the newly developed Aspanggründe district.
