Vorarlberger Landestheater

The Vorarlberger Landestheater in Bregenz has a permanent acting company as well as frequent visitors.From September to June, it follows a predetermined schedule for the city of Bregenz and the state of Vorarlberg.

The Vorarlberger Landestheater is situated immediately on the lakefront in Bregenz.Every season, the approximately 45 workers and their dedicated teams of directors create fifteen premieres, including series for children.As needed, guest performers supplement the ensemble of regularly paid actors.

In addition to drama and musically oriented theatre shows, a music theater show is created in partnership with the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra each season.Stephanie Gräve, who took over management of the theater in the 2018/2019 season, enhances the program with innovative theatrical forms.Commissioned and exhibited are productions with regional connotations, such as “The 27th Canton,” “Diorama Bregenz:: The Last Man,” and “Hollenstein, a picture of homeland.”
