Viktor Adler Markt

The Viktor-Adler-Markt, also known as “Platzl” and located between Favoritenstraße and Senefeldergasse, is a magnificent and vibrant market with an identifiable atmosphere. A unique market experience is created by “Urfavoritner” Schmäh and a famous farmer’s market in Leibnizgasse with the most innovative and loudest sellers in Vienna. The Viktor Adler Market first opened its doors in 1877 and enlarged in 1910.

The 125-year-old Viktor-Adler-Markt in Wien Favoriten is an unusually authentic market, offering a wide range of culinary delights like as fruits and vegetables and fine wines. Take your time, and you’ll find lots to see, explore, and discover here. There are a variety of local delis as well as Turkish, Greek, and Indian delicacies, as well as rows and rows of booths that create veritable alleys and alleyways. This market is a wonderful area to meander around in the summer because the stalls are shaded by parasols and awnings.
