Theater am Steg (Creative Center)

Theater am Steg (Creative Center) is under the management of the cultural department of the municipality of Baden. It serves as a versatile venue for a wide range of events including theater performances, theater festivals such as the “Baden Theater Days,” opera performances, the Lower Austrian State Book Exhibition, readings, and the “literature coffee house.” Additionally, it hosts cabaret events, concerts, jazz festivals, jazz cafés, music lounges known as “Schwingungen,” dance shows, children’s events, exhibitions, travel and health lectures, information evenings, seminars, workshops, panel discussions, the “Sing along!” project, and many other activities.The house is highly sought after by both artists and the general public, and it is also available for rent.
