A one-of-a-kind interactive exhibition has been developed in the charming national park community of Hüttschlag. This pertains to the cultural landscape, alpine pastures, and forest within the national park. The new exhibition, titled “Up on the Alm – Between Heaven and Earth,” invites you to explore the fascinating realm that exists between heaven and earth.
An investment of approximately €800,000 was made in this interactive exhibition in the year 2015.Andreas Zangl, hailing from Graz, was in charge of the artistic design of the exhibition. In addition, he showcased his impressive skills at the Mittersill National Park Center.
Not all national park museums in the Hohe Tauern National Park cover all topics. The presentation of regional focal points in the museum is crucial for the respective national park region. The exhibition “Up on the Alm – Between Heaven and Earth” is a perfect fit for the Grossarltal, a valley known for its alpine pastures.
The exhibition “Up on the Alm – Between Heaven and Earth” presents a modern and approachable atmosphere. The Valley Museum is a great indoor activity to consider during bad weather in Grossarltal. Not only adults can learn interesting facts from the Almwelt, but there is also a lot for children to discover. It is definitely worth mentioning the cow bingo, memory game, and interactive cheese production.
