Swimming pool Zell am Ziller

The open-air adventure swimming facility “Erlebnisfreibad Zell am Ziller” provides a variety of activities such as swimming, sliding, splashing, sports, and relaxing. It is an excellent place to spend a fun and exciting summer day.

The Erlebnisfreibad Zell am Ziller is part of the Freizeitpark Zell, a large outdoor leisure park covering an area of 45,000m2. Tennis, beach volleyball, football, skittles, and the “Garten der Sinne” adventure garden are among the park’s many attractions and sporting activities. Individuals of all ages love participating in outdoor recreational activities in the adventure swimming area throughout the summer season. There is a sports pool, a children’s pool, a water whirler, two magnificent slides, and a large sunbathing meadow in this area.

The large recreational area offers a variety of services and activities for youngsters. A special space within the café and restaurant allows youngsters to play while taking in the breathtaking views of the Zillertal Valley mountains. The “Radweg Zillerpromenade” bicycle track provides riders with a route that takes them near to the Freizeitpark Zell am Ziller. Patrons with a valid swimming area ticket have access to all of the activities available within the recreational facility.

• Sport Pool: If you want to swim some laps or practice your strokes, you can head to the sport pool, which has six lanes and a length of 25 meters. The water temperature is around 24°C, and the depth ranges from 1.2 to 1.8 meters.
• Wild Water Channel: If you want to experience some thrill and excitement, you can try the wild water channel, which has a length of 65 meters and a width of 3 meters. The water flows at a speed of 1.5 meters per second, and you can ride on a rubber ring or a mat. The water temperature is around 26°C, and the depth is 0.8 meters.
• Giant Slides: If you want to have some fun and adventure, you can go on the giant slides, which have a total length of 180 meters and a height of 12 meters. There are two slides to choose from: a tube slide and a free-fall slide. The tube slide has a diameter of 1.2 meters and a length of 90 meters, and it features light and sound effects. The free-fall slide has a width of 0.8 meters and a length of 90 meters, and it has a steep drop of 45 degrees. The water temperature is around 28°C, and the depth is 1.2 meters.
• Children’s Pool: If you have young children or toddlers, you can take them to the children’s pool, which has a water surface of 100 square meters and a depth of 0.3 meters. The children’s pool has a water temperature of around 30°C, and it has various attractions, such as a water mushroom, a mini slide, a water cannon, and a fountain. The children’s pool is surrounded by a sandpit and a playground, where the kids can play and have fun.
• Lawn Area: If you want to relax and unwind, you can lounge on the lawn area, which has a surface of 10,000 square meters and offers a panoramic view of the Zillertal Alps. The lawn area has plenty of sunbeds, parasols, and lockers for your convenience. You can also find a snack bar, a kiosk, and a restaurant, where you can get some refreshments and food.
