The Steiereck and its sister establishment, the Meierei next door, are two of the city’s most famous gourmet restaurants, located in one of the most beautiful districts of Vienna, in the center of the Stadtpark and on the banks of the river.
The restaurant has two stars in the Michelin Guide 2020, so it’s well worth the trip.It is regarded as Vienna’s most exclusive restaurant.The Steirereck is ultra-modern on the outside, with big blocks of mirrored glass amid the trees of the city park; on the inside, light-colored wood and light-flooded rooms give the required elegance.
The cuisine is premium Austrian, with classic Viennese specialties expertly adapted and reinterpreted.
