Sparkassen Park

This wonderful park was developed in the manner of English landscape gardens over an area of 18,750 square meters in 1884. The park’s design highlights include a fountain and a monument to Emperor Joseph II (1886).

The World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) was interested in the park’s wildlife and conducted an inventory. The Sparkassenpark, commonly known as the Stadtpark, has been completely redesigned horticulturally. As a draw, a medicinal plant and kitchen herb garden was constructed.
