ShoppingCity Seiersberg

Shopping City Seiersberg is a shopping center situated in Seiersberg-Pirka, a suburb of Graz, the capital city of the Styrian state.Shopping City Seiersberg, the largest shopping center in Styria and the third largest in Austria, opened its doors in 2003. It boasts a spacious rentable sales area of 74,000 m².In 2005, the center had a total of eight million visitors.The place is conveniently located for motor vehicles, directly at the Seiersberg junction of the Pyhrn Autobahn A 9. Additionally, it is located just 2 kilometers south of the Graz-Webling roundabout.

The shopping center is divided into five sections, with each section being structurally separated by entrances that have glass walls extending all the way up to the roof. The shopping center is home to around 180 shops, as well as an office center that accommodates doctors and service providers. The catchment area of this region extends from Lower Carinthia to Burgenland, and from Upper Styria to Slovenia and Croatia.

The fifth center, located north of the original building complex, was opened on February 18, 2008.The decision to construct a new building was motivated by the significant demand for retail space, indicating that it would be a lucrative endeavor.The new building stands out for its impressive feature – it boasts the longest escalator in Styria. This escalator provides direct access to Media Markt, which is one of the largest branches of Media Markt worldwide, boasting an impressive retail space of 10,000 m².

The shopping center area was equipped with an interactive wayfinding system on November 25, 2013, in a total of nine locations. This system utilizes large-format touch displays to effectively guide every customer to their desired destination within the shopping city.

On April 22, 2022, a new outdoor area was opened as part of a “gastro offensive.” This spacious area can accommodate up to 550 guests and is designed to house two restaurants.In order to fulfill its intended purpose, the pedestrian bridge on the first floor has been structurally extended. This bridge currently connects to the lower parking lot in the north.

The ShoppingCity Seiersberg is an offical Austrian Post affiliate. Sending letters and parcels, withdrawals from saving books and accounts and payments with paymenr slips and money transfers are possible.

LOCKERS

If you want to securely store any belongings during your shopping trip, you have the use of lockers. You find them near our info points, toilets, Entrance B and in my other locations.

WI-FI

There is free wi-fi access for our customers anywhere in the ShoppingCity Seiersberg. All you need is a wi-fi capable device (laptop, notebook, smartphone,…)

ACCESSIBLE SHOPPING

To offer people with special needs a boundless shopping experice, the ShoppingCity is barrier-free and offers generously sized elevator cabins. Wheelchairs can be rendet for free at every info point if needed. Additionally, the mall is faciliated with easy accessible toilets on both levels.

CHASH MACHINES

You have access to four cash maschines in House 3 / Level 1 (Entrance C revolving door and in front of Merkur supermarket) as well as on Level 2 (tabacconists) and in House 7 / Level 2.Ihnen stehen bei uns vier Bankomaten zur Verfügung.

Additionally, the SBox of the Steiermärkischen Sparkasse offers you a bank statement printer and money transfer box.

E-CAR RECHARCHING

While shopping you can recharge your e-car. This is possible at our e-car recharging stations in parking garage House 9 (Red City) below Media Markt and near Entrance C between Houses 3 and 5.

The charging stations are availabe for Teslas and type-2 standardised e-vehicles.
