The St. Jodok parish church, built between 1865 and 1867, is located on the church square in the heart of Schruns.The church’s interior is filled with exquisite embellishments such as portraits and statues. Notably, the church has been retained in the late 19th and early 20th century Nazarene architecture, making it a unique specimen of this architectural style.The Bishop of Feldkirch took the decision to raise the church to the rank of a minster on December 10, 2019. As a consequence, on March 8, 2020, the church became Austria’s first parish church to acquire this honor.
