With a cultural and historical collection that is unique in Europe, the Salzburg Christmas Museum illustrates the Christmas season in all of its elements.
The Christmas Museum is located on Mozartplatz in the old town, above the Café Glockenspiel.The artifacts were gathered by Ursula Kloiber over a nearly 50-year period and are shown under the theme “Advent and New Year’s celebrations from 1840 to 1940.”
The primary exhibition is divided into eleven topics, which are augmented by additional exhibitions.The Christmas Museum is unique in that it may be visited practically all year round.
