The Rosenhain is situated in one of Graz’s most lovely and serene areas, with a stunning view of the city. Whether for children, schoolchildren, students, or elderly, the Rosenhain is a great spot to get away from it all, owing to its ideal location (just about 10 minutes on foot from the main building of Graz Karl Franzens University).
Aside from the gorgeous environment, the Rosenhain also houses the USI, Graz University’s sports center, a nursing home, a kindergarten, and an after-school care center.
A visit to the Rosenhain playground may be paired with a walk through a magnificent seaside woodland and some refreshments at the Café Rosenhain afterwards (or before). The generations sit at tables here, while the children are presumably playing outside on the playground.
