Rochuspark

Rochuspark sits on the edges of Hartberg’s historic old town. The city pond (“Anterlteich”), which was designed to seem like a natural pond, and its small park structure set it apart.

The position where the Steinernen river flows into the municipal pond allows both children and the elderly to use the playground equipment.

It is a prominent feature of the old town and, together with the Schölbinger Tower and the new floating picture gallery (as part of the “Stadt.Land.Garten” project), is one of Hartberg’s most popular photo subjects.

The white medieval tower overlooks a small yet attractive park (Rochuspark) with a fountain. There is also a little playground. Walking distance from the main plaza is 4-500 meters / 5 minutes through the pedestrian street or via Michaeligasse and Europaplatz. Finally, just across the corner from the market is the Stadtpark, which includes quiet spots to relax. You may also see a section of the city wall that has been repaired and return to the town via the Reckturm gate. As a result, there is always a historical backdrop everywhere you walk.
