Jaga Alm on the Schmittenhöhe is a mountain hotel with a restaurant and a panoramic outlook, located right in the ski area and along the hiking routes. Here you may indulge in handcrafted specialties and have a gourmet break.
The Jaga Alm has found its home on Zell am See’s native mountain, the Schmittenhöhe, and blends alpine flair with modern comfort: the mountain hotel and restaurant welcomes you to enjoy a break or a holiday in the center of the alpine scenery in summer and winter. Then there is the stunning view of Lake Zell! At 1,200 meters above sea level, you are extremely near to the peak and always enjoy a clear view of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. The Jaga Alm is located directly along the pistes of the Schmittenhöhe in winter and straight along the hiking route in summer. In addition, from June to mid-September, the hotel’s own swimming biotope is available. At the mountain restaurant, you may have freshly cooked specialties from the hotel’s own farm and hunt, as well as handmade pastries.
