The Happ Reptile Zoo is the most species-rich reptile zoo in Austria, providing a caring environment for over 1,000 animals.The zoo offers a variety of attractions, including 20 different species of lizards, 60 species of snakes, 20 species of turtles, piranhas, and an insectarium featuring tarantulas and scorpions.Within the complex, you will encounter a diverse array of reptiles, including mambas, cobras, rattlesnakes, monitor lizards, iguanas, and agamas. Additionally, there are magnificent giant tortoises, formidable crocodiles, and various species of native snakes.At Happ, you can gain extensive knowledge about the fascinating lives of exotic snakes and lizards that are indigenous to Austria.The fear of physical contact and an excessive fear of snakes can be conquered through personal effort and by attending informative lectures.One of the attractions at the reptile zoo is the feeding of the crocodiles and turtles, which takes place on Saturday afternoons.Dogs are welcome at the Happ Reptile Zoo as long as they are kept on a leash.There is plenty of parking available directly in front of the zoo.
