Ponyhof

At the Ponyhof, you can enjoy dancing to various genres of music and find entertainment beyond the dancefloor. That is why it is regarded as the “living room” among Vienna’s clubs.

The Ponyhof serves as an experimental space for the club scene in Vienna. The music played at the venue is a combination of techno and electronic genres. On certain evenings, there may also be hip hop and soul music. It is worth noting that the music is intentionally not played at a high volume. Guests can enjoy the dancefloor, where people are taking to the floor with enthusiasm. Additionally, the cozy club provides a perfect setting for guests to engage in conversations with one another. The concept is effective: The admission prices, which are in the single-digit range, along with the zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination and the prohibition of taking photos, are highly appreciated by the audience. That is why a variety of events, not just music, are held here. The Ponyhof serves as a gathering place for the community, hosting art exhibitions, socio-cultural discussions, and regular get-togethers.

The venue derives its name from the presence of a life-sized, white plastic horse positioned on a platform adjacent to the dancefloor. Due to the psychedelic visuals projected onto the animal, it is evident that it is no longer a white horse. Green laser lights create a vibrant club atmosphere, and if you find yourself needing a break from all the dancing, you can relax on the comfortable leather furniture. Co-founder Laurent Koepp aptly describes the Ponyhof:
