The St. Martin parish church is located in Traun’s St. Martin area in Upper Austria.The Parish Church of St. Martin belongs to the Roman Catholic religion and is part of the Deanery of Traun within the Diocese of Linz.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new church was performed on June 8, 1958, and the foundation stone was set on August 17, 1958, in the presence of Bishop Franz Zauner.The tower and bells were dedicated on December 21, 1958, and were first rung during the 1958 Christmas festivities.The church was consecrated on November 20, 1960, under the supervision of Bishop Franz Zauner.Pastor Ignatius Koller consecrated the organ in 1970, and the newly constructed Marienkapelle was consecrated in 1978.
The inside of the hall area has a cross-shaped form with a nave and transept, both of which have open roofs.The bells are displayed in the church tower.
