Mundypark

Mundypark is a park in Vienna’s Favoriten neighborhood.

The Mundypark is a 2900 m2 Beserlpark in the Favoriten neighborhood.Mundygasse, Steudelgasse, Erlachgasse, and Gellertgasse go through the park.The park features seating, a playground for children and young people, a soccer field, basketball court, table tennis tables, a drinking fountain, a public toilet in the form of a mobile toilet, and seasonal park supervision by Kinderfreunde Wien.

On March 23, 1932, the Municipal Council Committee for Culture of the City of Vienna named the Mundypark after Jaromir Freiherr von Mundy (1822-1894), the founder of the Viennese volunteer rescue organisation.
