Maiskogel

The Maiskogel mountain is a solid family favorite. It has lots to see, do, and explore for both adults and children throughout the spring, summer, autumn, and winter. The top may be reached swiftly and simply by riding the MK Maiskogelbahn cable car from Kaprun’s center up into the wonderful world of the Austrian Alps.

Near the winter, the Maiskogel mountain near Kaprun is home to a premier ski resort ideal for families and cruisers. There are largely easy and intermediate ski slopes in the resort, as well as lots of huts selling food and drink. Local ski schools and equipment rental businesses provide competent service and assistance, and a big ski depot at the foot of the lifts eliminates the need to bring your equipment back to your lodging each day.

The Maisi Park is the last but not least. This mini-fun park encourages children to make their first leaps in a secure atmosphere. Beginners and skiers returning to the slopes for the first time in years may appreciate the Maisi Lift’s big practice area with mild slopes.
