The Lebzelterhaus in Steyr, Sierningerstraße 1, is a Renaissance-style aristocratic residence.
The current building dates from the middle of the 16th century. The façade represents the year 1567, and the paintings are almost certainly from the same time period.Lebzelten, mead, and wax objects were sold in the home until 1957, and they were made in-house until the mid-nineteenth century. On November 15, 1957, the municipal council approved the purchase of the house; by 1960, the original Renaissance condition had been restored following restoration work.It presently houses a gingerbread museum as well as a Christkindl café.
The residence is located on Sierningerstraße 1 in Steyrdorf, just across from the Red Fountain.A few steps away is the Gothic Dunklhof (Kirchengasse 16).
