Lebenspark Raaba-Grambach

In August 2000, the name “Lebenspark 2020” was changed to “Lebenspark Raaba-Grambach”. The park in the district of Raaba was created by combining the former “Bohemian Garden” with the garden of the “Fleckgründe”. The Raaba-Grambach Life Park, located in the charming market town of Raaba, is a delightful gem that attracts many visitors seeking relaxation and tranquility. One can find numerous benches throughout the park, making it a popular spot for resting and unwinding.

The current park area has a total area of approximately 11,000 m² and provides a diverse range of secluded spots for visitors to enjoy. The park area is situated right in the heart of Raaba. The park area is surrounded by the market town office and the local chapel to the north, the state road Graz – Hausmannstätten L 370 to the east, the newly built Böhmergrundsiedlung to the west, and the Raababach and the fire brigade center to the south.

In the center of the park stands a magnificent gem: a Bohemian villa that is over a hundred years old. This villa was built in the Art Nouveau style and was acquired by the municipality around the year 2000. It has since been renovated to preserve its original architectural style. The house, currently known as “Ärztehaus Böhmervilla,” accommodates six elective doctors who operate their own practices.

At the center of the inner circle, there is a 4.8-ton “ore stone” that is filled with water and overflowing. The spring stone is a gift from the Styrian ore mining industry to Mayor Josef Gangl this spring. The Styrian Erzberg contains a total of 16 distinct ores within its stone.

Come and experience the tranquility of our public life park, where you can escape the pressures of daily life and find solace in a serene environment. A flat area of approximately 60 m² was formed at the highest elevation of the park, resembling a wall.

In this area, the “Park Pavilion” stands with its own unique charm and offers a great view of a large section of the park. It is well-suited for various activities such as poetry readings, fashion shows, music performances, and small events. It provides an intellectually stimulating and enjoyable space for people to gather and celebrate.

The paths through the park serve as a unique “object of change.” Within the 1,100-meter-long paths, there are specific routes that guide visitors through unique plant frames.
