Lake Aichwaldsee

Lake Aichwaldsee is a natural lake that covers an area of about 7.7 hectares and has a maximum depth of 6.5 meters. It is fed by underground springs and drains into the nearby Lake Faak. The water quality is excellent and the lake is suitable for swimming, fishing, boating, and relaxing. There is a parking lot near the lake, as well as a public beach with changing rooms, showers, toilets, and a playground. The beach is open from May to September and charges a small entrance fee. There are also several private beaches and jetties along the lake, which belong to the owners of the holiday homes and apartments that dot the shore.

The lake is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, especially in the summer months, when the water temperature can reach up to 25°C.
