Kutschkermarkt

The 18th district’s local market is well-known for its unique cuisine, Saturday farmer’s market, and quaint enterprises. The Kutschkermarkt, along with the Brunnenmarkt, is Vienna’s only remaining neighborhood market. This pleasant market is well worth a visit, especially on Saturdays, when the fixed stalls are joined by farmers from the surrounding region who come to offer their local, often organic, products. Fruit, vegetables, bread, fish, cheese, wine, juices, and jams are among the many high-quality products available at the Kutschkermarkt. Among all of these delicacies, flower vendors add a splash of color to the market’s lively look.
