KuHlturstall is Axams’ new home for culture and culture enthusiasts. As a modest but spectacular multicultural venue, this Axams stage quickly established itself as an absolute theatre highlight both in the town and beyond afield after opening in 2018. Growing up in a theatrical family, the three Zorn sisters and their kids rapidly realized their long-held ambition of creating their own stage. They accomplished this by transforming the abandoned cowshed of the beautiful former farm “Beim Zech” into the cool “KuHlturstall.”Their concept of providing a modest, nearly familiar setting for aspiring artists, amateur actors, satirical performers, and musicians to showcase their ability quickly drew the attention of the Austrian arts community. The venue’s success speaks for itself, and it has gotten rave reviews from all types of guests. With the birthplace of the famous poet and dramatist Dr Karl Schönherr just around the block, one could argue that the site itself was a good omen.
