Master bricklayer Christian Keil built the church between 1661 and 1666, and its façade is ornamented in the late Gothic style. The four-bay nave and two-bay choir, both with a 3/8 closure and capped by a barrel vault with pointed lunettes, have the same width. To the north of the chancel is the church tower, which has a pointed gable helmet, and the bell floor is marked by a cornice.

The high altar was built in 1670 by the carpenter Kassian Götsch and the artist Joseph Witwer.Joseph Götsch created the other sculptures.
