A quick rush or a leisurely ride: Vienna’s 850-meter-long summer toboggan slope at the Hohe Wand is fun for the whole family.

The journey to the summit of the slope is completely automated: a customized hoist can lift up to 25 tobogganers. From the top, you may race down the track at up to 40 kilometers per hour. The 14 curves on the track provide fun and thrill on the summer toboggan run, which includes a 100-meter altitude drop.

To add to the fun, a jump at the conclusion will make the tobogganers’ hearts and stomachs soar even higher. Anyone who prefers a slower ride or has a tiny passenger can use the brake to slow down.

From huge dinners to little snacks, the food court serves healthful and tasty dishes. And the relaxing chill-out decks are ideal for unwinding.
