Hanuschplatz

Hanuschplatz, named shortly after Hanusch’s death, is currently primarily a residential street located within an allotment settlement bearing the same name. During the Third Reich, a place was named “Leo-Schlageter-Platz” to pay tribute to Albert Leo Schlageter (1894-1923), an early member of the National Socialist movement. The renaming to the original name occurred in practice in 1945 and was officially recognized in 1947.
