Hans-Donnenberg-Park

Hans-Donnenberg-Park is located in Salzburg’s Riedenburg district, to the south-east.

The park is named after Hans Donnenberg, a Salzburg municipal politician who died in 1964.It extends from under the municipal retirement home (above the edge of the cemetery terrace) to the Thumegger district in the Gneis district.

An historic military cemetery borders its southern end, the 1st Salzburg permanent allotment garden settlement borders its western side, and the municipal garden center borders its northern end.

The playground in the park’s southwestern corner is 17,300 square meters in size.

In between recreational spaces with leisure amenities such as table tennis, climbing garden, and so on, old stocks of trees mingle with fresh plantings.In the close area of the children’s playground is a cell phone mast.
