Since 1847, Gerstner has been synonymous with culinary delights. The Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäckerei at Kärntner Straße 51 is a top address for those with a sweet tooth and gourmets. The shop on the ground floor, which is well worth seeing, offers the handmade sweet delicacies from the Gerstner Patisserie and Confiserie such as cakes, cupcakes, petits fours, truffles, confectionery, pralines or chocolate bars – to take away or lovingly packaged as a gift. Another highlight is the enchanting Sisi cake. The offer is complemented by sparkling wines from the Schlumberg sparkling wine cellar.

In the bar on the first floor, sweet and savoury delicacies from Gerstner can be enjoyed with a glass of sparkling wine in a living room atmosphere. From the comfortable velvet-covered sofas and small boxes, you can enjoy the unique view of the Vienna State Opera.

On the second floor, guests are spoiled in the café-restaurant in the best Viennese tradition. Here, the Gerstner chefs serve sweet delicacies, fresh strudel classics and savoury delicacies from Viennese cuisine, such as the popular Wiener Schnitzel from the pan.
