Eisarena – Salzburg Ice Arena

At the Eisarena in the Volksgarten, a 3,600-m2 roofed ice rink provides a winter-sports and enjoyment place for the entire family.

The artificial ice rink not only serves as the home of the EC Red Bull Salzburg ice hockey team, but it is also a popular gathering spot for leisure sportsmen. The arena can hold 3,200 guests and has two 60 by 30 metre ice rinks, one indoors and one outside.

The Eisarena provides a variety of ice-sports activities, including public skating, ice hockey, figure skating, stock sports, short track, and formation skating, as well as skate rental, skate sharpening, and sports equipment rental. From mid-April through the beginning of August, the arena may be rented for events.

The ice-skating circuit through the Volksgartenbad outdoor pool, which consists of two laps of 400 and 300 m2 and two one-way ice tracks, adds 1400 m2 of winter-sports enjoyment and is connected to the roofed open-air space.
