Casino Salzburg

Casino Salzburg in Schloss Klessheim is an unforgettable experience for anyone. A large assortment of games, fascinating architecture, and great food enable guests to relax and appreciate the dazzling chambers of this baroque jewel.

Casino Salzburg at Schloss Mirabell opened its doors in 1935, making Salzburg one attraction richer. Aficionados of “games of chance” from all over were enthralled by the mystique of the gaming tables, so much so that the casino was quickly transferred to the bigger facilities of Café Restaurant Winkler on the Mönchsberg. The gaming options were increased in 1993, and the casino was temporarily relocated to Schloss Klessheim. The “temporary” site, however, attracted guests to such an extent that the powers-that-be finally chose to leave the casino exactly where it was.

Since 2016, the casino has welcomed tourists in revitalized elegance, thanks to major restoration work. The different gaming spaces have been recently rebuilt, and the casino lounge, Weekend Casino, and events bar on the ground level have all been entirely redone. The enlarged restaurant offers plenty of space for relaxing while also luring customers with superb cuisine.

Admission to the casino is allowed upon reaching the age of 18 in line with Casinos Austria AG’s visiting and gaming restrictions. Identification with a picture is necessary. The casino also asks that you follow the dress code, which is sophisticated eveningwear for ladies and a sports jacket for guys.
