Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, we offer the best advice and a pleasant and friendly climate. With a cup of coffee or a cool drink, you can browse and taste comfortably and undisturbed. We order almost all books without obligation and free of charge.

In addition, we are also extremely accommodating – so we exchange every book you buy from us in mint condition (even without
proof of purchase). Even books that have not been purchased from us will be taken back by us – if sellable – against a voucher. We even take back books that are specifically recommended by us if they are not satisfied with the read.

Especially in times of modern means of communication, we naturally attach great importance to being present online. You can also use our online shop under www.heyn.at with 4.5 million books, e-books, CDs, DVDs, games and non-books.

We ship free of charge within Austria! Of course, we are also happy to wrap your purchases made with us free of charge as a gift on request.

For our little customers, we offer free reading hours in the morning ( Monday to Thursday from 10.00-11.00 a.m. ) during the summer holidays in our bookstore, for adults there are numerous evening events with well-known authors and a special highlight are always our literary-culinary dinner readings, at which our chef, Helmut Zechner, aka Mr. Heyn, entertained his guests with a
5-course menu personally cooked and pampered.

Virtually and also in real life you will find our two black cats Nilo and Nala in our bookstore, who brighten up our everyday life with their purring presence.
