The Bildraum Bodensee in Bregenz opened in the summer of 2015, bolstering the lively art scene surrounding Lake Constance with a new art venue for modern, diverse work.
Bildrecht GmbH’s new exhibition space in the old post office building between the Kunsthaus (KUB) and the Vorarlberg Museum serves primarily as a welcoming platform for area artists and cultural workers interested in modern, creative, and experimental art.Artists of many genres may find a representative platform and a vibrant partner in art mediation at Bildrecht.Changing exhibits and partnership with national and international artists, cultural institutions, galleries, dance and film festivals offer a dynamic schedule of events.
Bildrecht sees itself as a non-profit organization that, in addition to its work as a copyright society in licensing and legal issues, increases public awareness of culturally relevant problems.Her primary responsibility is to increase the prestige of art and the tangible, existential foundation of artists, which she does through a competent staff and a wide range of services for her members.Bildrecht, through its facilities, promotes creative innovation and the public perception of Austrian artists.In cultural-political discussion, she frequently advocates for the fair and equal handling of intellectual property.
