The leisure facilities around the Liefering bathing pond in the north of Salzburg provide a perfect setting for swimming, sports, and relaxation.
The bathing pond is the smallest of the three Salzach ponds, with a surface area of 22,000 m2 and a maximum depth of 3 meters. It is entirely fed by groundwater. The vast sunbathing areas around the lake provide plenty of space to relax as well as plenty of changing rooms and cool showers.
There are two food and drink stalls as well as a water fountain for rehydration.
The recreational area in Salzburg’s Liefering district provides a range of leisure activities over a total area of 90,000 m2:

- children’s playground with climbing nets, swings etc.
