Barbarakapelle (Barbara Chapel) is a chapel in the Pinzgau town of Kaprun, located in the working village of the Tauern power plants.
In the manufacturing settlement lies the Barbara Chapel.In 1953 and 1954, architect Fidelius Schmid was tasked with developing and building the Barbara Chapel.Archbishop Andreas Rohracher dedicated it in 1955.Every year on Barbara Day, a locked roll containing the names of the employees who died during the building of the Tauern power stations from 1939 to 1955 is lifted from the chapel for the memorial ceremony.
