The Alpine Coaster Maisiflitzer ( Alpin Untersatz “Maisi”-Flitzer, also: Alpin Toboggan “Maisi”-Flitzer ), also known as the Alpine roller coaster Maisiflitzer, is Salzburg’s first year-round toboggan run.
The Alpine Coaster Maisiflitzer debuted on the Maiskogel in Kaprun, Pinzgau, in January 2011.This high-tech facility took three months to build.Six bridges, five roundabouts, jumps, and several waves were built.During the six-minute ascent, you gain a sense of the system’s immensity.The 53 two-person sleds are automatically drawn to the starting line.The 1,300-meter drop allows for speeds of up to 40 kilometers per hour.Modern eddy current brakes keep you safe.
People from the area and the rest of the world are among the “corn freaks,” and the facility is especially popular with visitors from Arab countries.
