It can also be reached via the ski runs or hiking trails “H1 Hohe and H2 Kleine Scharte”, “H3 Hamburger” or “H4 Haitzing”.
You can access Aeroplanstadl by foot, by ski, or by cable car. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the mid-station, or about 1.5 hours from the valley station. If you prefer to ski, you can enjoy the scenic slopes that lead to the inn. If you want to take the cable car, you can use the Schlossalmbahn, which operates from December to April. The cable car also offers a panoramic view of the Gastein Valley and the surrounding mountains.
