History and Location

12er Treff Mountain Bar was founded in 2009 by Martin and Sandra, a couple who share a passion for skiing and partying. They wanted to create a place where people could have a great time after a day on the slopes, and where they could feel close to the sky and the stars. They chose the location of the former Zwölferkogel mountain hut, which was built in 1968 and served as a restaurant and a shelter for skiers and hikers. They renovated the hut and added a large umbrella bar, a terrace, and a DJ booth. They also installed a modern sound and lighting system, and decorated the place with colorful flags, banners, and posters.

The 12er Treff Mountain Bar is accessible by two cable cars: the Zwölferkogelbahn II and the Zwölfer-Nordbahn. Both of them operate from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in the winter season, and from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the summer season. The bar is open every day from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, and sometimes until 6:00 pm for special events. The bar can accommodate up to 300 people, and has a staff of 15 friendly and energetic employees.
