Location and Accessibility

About 20 kilometers south of Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, the town of Fulpmes houses Schlick 2000 Ski Area. It is part of the four ski areas that make up the Stubai Glacier ski range and share a single ski pass. Skiing and Snowboarding Trails

Schlick 2000 Ski Area boasts 22 kilometres of skiing and snowboarding tracks with varying degrees of difficulty from basic to challenging. The three classification into which the trails fall are beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Beginner Trails

Intermediate Trails

Schlick 2000 Ski Area features nine intermediate trails totaling twelve kilometers. Mostly in the higher part of the ski resort, the intermediate paths are near to the peaks of Kreuzjoch and Sennjoch. More varied, smaller, and steeper than the novice routes are the intermediate trails. Among the red runs are the Panorama, the Zirmach and the Schlickeralm; among the blue streams are the Schanzlin and the Burgstall.

Advanced Trails

Advanced trails are meant for those who want to push themselves with the most difficult and exciting terrain or who have great degree of expertise and confidence in skiing or snowboarding. Schlick 2000 Ski Area houses seven advanced trails totaling three kilometers. Nestled among the Sennjoch and Schlicker Seespitze peaks, the advanced trails occupy the most exposed and highest point of the ski area. The advanced trails are somewhat tight, steep, and challenging. Among the off-piste sections are the Powder Department and the Backcountry; among the black lines are the Zirmach-Abfahrt, the Schliker Seespitze, and the Freeride Route.

Ski Lifts and Facilities

With the potential to carry up to 15,000 people per hour, Schlick 2000 Ski Area boasts a contemporary and effective ski lift system. It consists of ten lifts. There are one gondola, four chairlifts, four drag lifts, and one rope pull among the ski lifts. Every day, the carefully maintained ski lifts run from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Additionally accessible via the ski lifts are restaurants, pubs, ski schools, ski rentals, ski stores, and ski lockers.
