Dining Options on the Slopes
- Perched atop the Achter Jet lift, the Lisa Alm is a chic and welcoming restaurant complete with a wine cellar, fireplace, and expansive patio.
- Salads, schnitzel and spaghetti are among the Mediterranean and regional fare on the menu.
At the Star Jet 1 lift’s valley station is the hip and popular Dampfkessel, which features a big sun deck, a DJ, and a live band. Burgers, fries and beer are among the food and beverages on the menu. - At the Highliner 1 lift’s valley station is the Winklalm, a typical, rustic hut with a fireplace, a children’s play area, and a comfortable lounge. Cheese, soup, and strudel are among the regional and organic fare on the menu.

- At the Star Jet 1 lift’s valley station is the Hofstadl, Flachau’s most well-known and expansive après-ski pub. There’s a live band, a DJ and a large dance floor. Over the season, the bar holds a number of events and parties and is open from 3 p.m. until 2 a.m.
- At the Space Jet 1 lift’s valley station is the sleek and contemporary Fire & Ice, which features a dance floor, a cocktail bar, and a lounge. Offering a range of beverages and music genres, the bar is open from 4 p.m. until 4 a.m.
- At the Achter Jet lift’s valley station is the Musistadl, a quaint and welcoming tavern with a pool table, karaoke machine, and live music stage. It’s a laid-back and entertaining place, open from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Winter Celebrations
- The Ski Season in Flachau officially begins with the Opening Weekend. Early December saw a ski test, a ski display, and a party at the Hofstadl.
- Flachau’s Christmas Market provides a joyful and lovely setting. Midway in December, it includes a Santa Claus, a nativity scene, and regional cuisine and drink.
- Celebration of the end of the year and the start of the next in Flachau is the New Year’s Eve Party. It is on December 31 and includes a torchlight procession, a fireworks display, and a celebration at the Hofstadl.
Apres-Ski Events
- Highlight of the Flachau ski season is the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Women’s Night Slalom. Competing on the floodlit World Cup run are the top female slalom skiers in the world. It happens in mid-January. There’s also a live performance, a ski display, and a Hofstadl party.
- Among the most imaginative and inventive snowboard and freeski competitions in Europe is the Spring Battle. The greatest freestyle riders in the world perform on the Absolut Park, showcasing their skills and flair, during this late March event. There will be a live performance, a film competition, and a party at the Dampfkessel as well.
- The last and friendliest event of the season in Flachau is the Absolut Park Jam. Early April saw a jam session, a BBQ, and a prize presentation on Absolut Park. Additionally included in the event are a party at the Dampfkessel, a relax area, and a live DJ.

- At the Achter Jet lift’s valley station is the 4-star Funsport-, Bike- & Skihotel Tauernhof, which features a bar, a sauna, and a fitness center. There are 66 contemporary and comfortable rooms and suites in the hotel overall. The hotel provides facilities for bike schooling, storage, and rental as well.
- A garden, a café and a spa center are features of the 4-star AlpinLodge Flachau, which is situated at the Space Jet 1 lift’s valley station. There are forty chic, sophisticated apartments and flats in the resort. The resort provides services for ski school, ski storage, and rental as well.
Chalets and Cabins
- At the Star Jet 1 lift’s valley station is the Almdorf Flachau, a collection of twenty chalets and cabins with fireplaces, saunas, and terraces. There are rustic and quaint two to six bedroom cottages and lodges. Breakfast, supper and catering services are also provided by the chalets and cabins.
- Situated at the Achter Jet lift valley station, the Chalet Flachauer Bergkristall is an opulent chalet complete with a balcony, steam bath, and jacuzzi. Five roomy and well appointed bedrooms make up the chalet. The chalet provides services for ski school, ski storage, and rental as well.
- Situated at the Space Jet 1 lift’s valley station, the Ferienhaus Flachau is a quaint cottage complete with a kitchen, living room, and patio. There are three very basic yet cozy bedrooms in the cottage. Ski schooling, ski storage, and rental are further services provided by the chalet.
