Bad Gleichenberg is a spa town and a popular tourist destination, hence its infrastructure and transportation system are sophisticated and effective. Together with a vast network of roads, trains, and buses, the town offers a steady supply of energy, water, gas, and telecommunications. Along with these public amenities are a number of libraries, health clinics, schools, and cultural venues throughout the town.

The B66 is the primary route in the town and links Bad Gleichenberg to the A2 highway as well as the neighboring towns of Fehring and Bad Radkersburg. Numerous subsidiary roads in the town connect the town center to the neighboring hamlets and villages, including the L201, L203, and L204.
