Sport Hotel Village is a four-star hotel in Soldeu, connected directly to Grandvalira’s Soldeu gondola and close to the village’s restaurants and shops. It forms part of Sport Hotels Resort & Spa, together with the separate Sport Hotel and Sport Hotel Hermitage & Spa. The Village occupies its own hotel building and has its own reception and contact details, even though guests can reach shared resort facilities and dining venues through the connected complex. This distinction matters when booking, arranging arrival or asking about spa access. Its ski-in/ski-out setting is the main practical draw in winter; in summer, the hotel remains a base for mountain activity in the Canillo parish.

The hotel’s rooms combine wood and stone finishes with a range of categories, including standard doubles, rooms with mountain views, duplexes, Junior Suites, Family Suites and larger named suites. Official room pages list standard rooms at about 23 square metres for two people, some Soldeu doubles at about 25 square metres, and suites that can accommodate four to six guests depending on configuration. All rooms include a full bathroom, heating, safe, hairdryer, satellite television and telephone; minibars and ironing services may cost extra. Baby cots for children up to two can be requested, subject to availability and a limit of one cot per room. Room photos are illustrative, so verify the exact category and view before booking.

Dining is centred on the hotel’s buffet, which offers breakfast and dinner, live cooking and options for children, vegetarians and guests with dietary requirements. Breakfast is included in some package descriptions, but the current official Village pages reviewed do not give a dependable daily breakfast schedule. Half-board is served in the Village’s own restaurant; other Sport Hotels restaurants may be available as separate additional options rather than automatically included. Notify the hotel about food intolerances before arrival so the kitchen can discuss suitable alternatives. The broader complex has bars and restaurants, but each venue has its own address, schedule and reservation arrangements. Check which outlets are open during the visit, particularly outside the main ski season.

Guests can access Sport Wellness Mountain Spa from inside the resort complex, but admission is charged separately for guests at Sport Hotel Village. The spa’s hydrotherapy circuit is reserved for people over 13, according to the resort’s current official information. Facilities include pools, sauna, steam and relaxation areas, while treatments are booked separately. Current Grandvalira hotel data lists the spa as open 12:00–20:00, but that timetable may be seasonal and does not establish the hotel's reception hours. Confirm the current access slots, price and booking rules directly with the Spa before planning a visit. Children’s club is offered for ages three to 12 during the winter season from 23 December and during August, but the hotel says guests should verify availability against the reservation.

Reception at Sport Hotel Village is listed as operating 24 hours. Current Booking.com and Grandvalira records give check-in from 15:00 and checkout at 12:00; the hotel's own booking/reception page confirms that reception is attended 24 hours. Guests may request late checkout, subject to availability and any applicable charge. The dedicated reception number is +376 870 500; general reservation services have different contacts and hours. Use the Village reception, not Sport Hotel or Hermitage contacts, for a stay at this property.

Winter guests benefit from the direct gondola connection and secure ski storage. Grandvalira’s lift and slope operations remain subject to snow, weather and the resort calendar, so a ski-in/ski-out description does not guarantee that every lift is open on every date. Other resort services include ski-pass arrangements, ski school and equipment facilities, some at extra cost. Ask about locker access and ski services when booking. The hotel also offers a gym and family facilities, but opening times and access rules can change during shoulder periods.

In summer, Soldeu serves hikers and cyclists as well as visitors seeking a cooler mountain setting. Routes in the area range from village walks to demanding high-altitude outings, and not all begin at the hotel. The property advertises mountain views and access to resort activities, but guests should obtain route information, transport details and current conditions for the specific route. Weather in the Pyrenees can change quickly with elevation. Families should also check which children’s services run during their dates; the mini club is advertised only for specified periods rather than every day of the year.

Sport Hotel Village is suited to families, couples and groups who want direct access to the gondola, a buffet restaurant, suites and connected wellness facilities. It is less suitable for travellers expecting all spa use to be included, pets to be accepted or every restaurant and family service to run year-round. Before arrival, confirm the room configuration, checkout time, current spa admission, Kids Club dates and the restaurants open during the stay. The nearby names Sport Hotel and Sport Hotel Hermitage can be confused with Village, so match the address and +376 870 500 contact when arranging transport or communicating with the property.
