Naturland is an outdoor activity and nature resort in La Rabassa, above Sant Julià de Lòria. The complex is arranged across two mountain sectors, Cota 1600 and Cota 2000, reached by separate points on the La Rabassa road. Cota 1600 is the main family activity area, home to the Tobotronc alpine coaster and a group of smaller attractions. Cota 2000 is a higher, more open mountain area associated with cross-country skiing in winter, mountain biking, horse activities, walking routes and seasonal food venues. Plan the two sectors as parts of one resort, but check which is open on your date; opening calendars and activities vary by season.

At Cota 1600, families can find activities such as the Tobotronc, Airtrekk, tubing, the Squirrel Circuit, archery, pedal buggies, a maze and play areas. Exact combinations depend on the ticket and the activity’s operating status. The Tobotronc is a principal attraction, but Naturland’s FAQ says it is not sold as an individual ride; it is included in specific activity tickets. Check height, age and safety requirements for each attraction before buying. Some activities are designed for young children, while others have minimum-height or supervision rules. Do not assume that all attractions operate on the same day simply because the resort is open.

Cota 2000 offers a different kind of day. It is the location for Naturland’s Bike Center and mountain-bike trails, horse rides and higher-altitude walking routes. In winter, this sector is associated with the Nordic ski area, sledding and snowshoe circuits, subject to snow and operational conditions. The terrain feels more exposed than the lower family activity centre, and outdoor plans depend on weather. Bring clothing for mountain conditions even in summer, and check whether rentals, transfers and activities require advance booking.

The sectors are several kilometres apart, so do not expect to walk casually between them as though they were adjacent attractions. Naturland’s main published address is Carretera de la Rabassa, kilometre 8, while the two sectors have separate map coordinates and access points. The resort’s internal transfer service links the areas when available, but the current schedule and whether it is included with a specific ticket should be verified before travel. If driving, follow the directions to the exact cota where your activity begins. A ticket for one sector may include an activity in the other, but it does not remove the need to plan that transfer.

Naturland can be visited without buying an activity ticket if you are only entering the grounds, according to the resort’s FAQ; tickets are needed to participate in the centre’s activities. This distinction is useful for companions who are not riding, although access to parking, restaurants, paths and facilities may still follow operating schedules or local rules. Parking is free at both sectors for visitors, but Cota 1600 parking is available only during centre opening hours and may be restricted by winter snow or ice. Naturland’s FAQ prohibits overnight stays and camping at the Cota 2000 car park; do not plan a night in either car park. Ask the resort about designated arrangements before travelling with a motorhome. Spaces are limited, so do not treat parking as guaranteed.

Naturland publishes a seasonal calendar rather than one simple year-round daily schedule. The 2026 summer calendar scheduled both sectors daily from 10:00 to 18:00 during the main summer period through 6 September. In autumn, Cota 2000 has a Wednesday-to-Friday schedule of 10:00–17:00 and both sectors are listed for weekends 10:00–18:00 through 12 October; Cota 1600 alone is then listed for weekends 10:00–17:00 from 17 October to 22 November. The 2026–27 winter calendar lists Cota 2000 daily 09:00–17:00, depending on snow, and Cota 1600 on weekends, holiday bridges and vacation periods 10:00–17:00. These are date-specific published plans, not permanent hours; consult the live calendar before departure.

Food options are split by sector and also operate seasonally. At Cota 1600, the resort lists La Cafeteria and El Foc; Cota 2000 has La Borda de Conangle and La Cervesera. The current restaurant page may show particular venues as closed even when other resort activities remain available, so confirm restaurant status independently and reserve when advised. Accommodation options are also available within the wider resort, but should be booked through their own pages. Do not assume a meal or room is included in an activity ticket.

The drive from Sant Julià de Lòria to Cota 1600 takes about ten minutes under normal conditions, while the centre of Andorra is roughly half an hour away. Allow additional time to reach Cota 2000 higher up the La Rabassa road. Weather and road conditions can add time, especially in winter. Check the road, the activity calendar and the exact sector before setting out. Naturland’s outdoor setting is part of the appeal: forest, high meadows and mountain views surround the activity areas. Stay on marked trails, follow staff instructions, and leave natural areas as you found them.
