Restaurant Coll de la Botella is a high-mountain dining venue at the point where the Pal and Arinsal sectors of the Pal-Arinsal resort meet. The restaurant sits beside the Arinsal–Pal cable car and is designed for visitors who want a substantial meal with wide mountain views. The resort describes it as a place for local, seasonal mountain cooking, with rice dishes, meat, stews and traditional casseroles. There is also a separate Xiringuito, or terrace bar, at the same location. Its quick outdoor menu includes burgers, hot sandwiches, salads, tapas and combination plates. These are related resort venues, but the terrace kiosk is not the same service as the indoor restaurant.

The setting is central to planning a visit. Coll de la Botella is high above the villages, on the route linking Pal and Arinsal, and the resort promotes panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and ski terrain. The site is next to the cable-car area and has its own parking, so access is not limited to people travelling on skis. During the winter operating season, visitors may reach it by car or as part of a day on the slopes. Road conditions, lift operations and access can change quickly in the mountains; check the resort’s current information before setting out, particularly outside the ski season or after snowfall.

The main restaurant focuses on mountain cooking rather than fast food. Its official description highlights rice, meats, stews and casseroles prepared with local and market ingredients. A seasonal menu is likely to change with product availability and the resort calendar, so the current menu link should be checked before travel. Parish food-event menus from past winters show examples such as Andorran beef burgers, grilled fish and seasonal dishes, but those were fixed-price event selections and should not be mistaken for the restaurant’s current à la carte offer. If you have a particular dish in mind, ask the restaurant before making the trip.

For a faster stop, the Xiringuito is a distinct outdoor option with a terrace facing the ski slopes. The resort describes its menu as casual mountain food: burgers, hot sandwiches, salads, tapas and combination plates, accompanied by cold drinks and beer. This format suits a break between runs or a sunny terrace stop more than a long, seated meal. Weather matters: the appeal and practical availability of outdoor seating depend on conditions, and the Xiringuito may follow a different schedule from the restaurant. Confirm which outlet is open on the day you plan to visit.

The resort also advertises reserved mountain dinners and special gastronomic experiences at Coll de la Botella. Its high-altitude setting makes the location suitable for group events and evening meals, but these are not walk-in services. The resort describes rustic fondue-style dinners and night-sky experiences on selected dates; booking and transport arrangements need to be confirmed in advance. Since the restaurant is above the villages, do not assume that the cable car or other lifts operate for a late dinner. The resort says this venue can be reached by car for its night dining events, but guests should use the specific instructions provided with their reservation.

The official winter 2025–26 information listed the restaurant kitchen from 12:00 to 15:30 and the café from 09:00 to 16:30. The Xiringuito was listed from 11:00 to 16:00, and the food truck from 07:30 to 13:00. The resort stated that these operations opened daily through 29 March 2026. That season has ended; those times are useful as a record of the last published winter schedule, not as a current timetable. The resort’s present page does not provide replacement summer or autumn dates in the information checked for this report. No current weekly hours should therefore be assumed. Check the resort’s live page or contact the venue before travelling.

The official resort contact for the restaurant is +376 878 222 and colldelabotella@palarinsal.com. Online reservations are offered for the indoor restaurant, and group dinners require advance arrangements. Because the restaurant and Xiringuito have separate menus and opening periods, be precise when booking: say whether you want the seated restaurant, the terrace kiosk or a reserved evening experience. Ask about current service hours, road access, parking, the menu, dietary accommodations and whether the selected outlet is operating that day.

Coll de la Botella is best for visitors who want to build a meal into a mountain day or deliberately travel for a high-altitude setting. The main restaurant offers a more substantial meal based on mountain and local cooking, while the Xiringuito provides faster food outdoors. The distinction helps set expectations: a burger or hot sandwich on the terrace is not equivalent to a full restaurant service, and the restaurant’s menu and dining room are not necessarily available whenever the terrace is open. The most important practical point is seasonality. The last clearly published schedule covered winter 2025–26 and ended in March, so check current operations before making this a destination.
