Sercotel Delfos Andorra is a four-star hotel at Avinguda del Fener 17 in Escaldes-Engordany. It is about 50 metres from Avinguda Carlemany and roughly 400 metres from Caldea, placing shopping, restaurants and the thermal complex within an easy walk. The hotel is in a built-up commercial area, not at a ski base; mountain outings require onward transport. Its central setting is convenient for combining a shopping visit with Caldea or a day trip into the Pyrenees.

The hotel has several room categories for couples, families and business travellers. Classic Comfort rooms are approximately 20 square metres, with a double bed or two singles, city or mountain views, television, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a private bathroom. The Comfort category includes a breakfast offer, bathrobe and slippers, complimentary water, a capsule coffee machine and a minibar stocked on arrival but not replenished. Other room categories may not include the same extras, so check the exact rate and inventory before booking. Cots are available on request, subject to confirmation.

The distinction between a standard room and a Comfort package can affect both the morning meal and the in-room extras. Compare the inclusions line by line rather than assuming the minibar is replenished or that every room comes with the same coffee setup. If you are travelling as a family, ask about the children’s area, cot availability and room occupancy limits; a general family-friendly label does not guarantee a particular bed configuration. Guests staying several nights may also want to ask about laundry turnaround and luggage storage.

Buffet breakfast is served at the hotel, and the Comfort Pack includes a dedicated area with sweet and savoury choices, local products, freshly squeezed juice and freshly ground coffee. Ask reception what time breakfast begins if an early departure matters, as the current service window is not stated. Breakfast may cost extra outside the Comfort Pack; compare the room-rate terms before booking.

Dining facilities need a little planning. The hotel has a restaurant serving fresh, locally sourced dishes, along with a bar. Its cafeteria, which has a terrace, is closed for renovations. This matters for guests expecting a coffee or snack there during the day; check availability before relying on it, since renovation dates can change. The restaurant and bar do not have a dependable daily timetable available, so ask about service on your dates.

Parking is available at the property for an additional charge, but the current amount and space conditions should be verified directly. Central Escaldes can be busy, and nearby public garages may be a practical alternative if the hotel garage is full. Ask whether a place can be reserved, what the height limit is and how to reach the entrance. Guests arriving by bus can use the central stops around Carlemany; those with luggage should check the pedestrian approach and any access restrictions in force on their travel date.

Caldea is about a five-minute walk from the hotel, depending on the route and crossings. It is a separate thermal centre with its own timed admissions, age rules and facilities, so a hotel stay does not automatically include entry. Reserve in advance during busy weekends or school holidays. The Carmen Thyssen Andorra museum and the sculpture La Noblesse du Temps are also within walking distance. The shopping streets of Escaldes and Andorra la Vella extend through the adjoining urban centre, making it easy to reach shops and restaurants without moving the car.

There is no hotel pool or spa listed among the current amenities, so plan Caldea as an outside visit rather than an included hotel facility. Bring the items required by your chosen admission and check whether the session length allows enough time for changing and walking back. If you are visiting with children, review Caldea’s own minimum-age and supervision rules before choosing a session; the hotel’s children’s area is a separate amenity and does not change the thermal centre’s conditions.

For skiing, the hotel offers a central base with road access to Grandvalira and Vallnord, but the resorts cover multiple sectors. Choose the specific base before planning transport: a bus to one valley may not take you to the sector you intended. Check current winter timetables, weather and road conditions, and allow time for weekend traffic. Ski storage is listed among the hotel services, which is useful for guests travelling with their own equipment. The hotel also has a children’s area and meeting facilities, and its central position can suit group trips as well as family stays.

Other amenities include 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, luggage storage, laundry, a lift and electric-vehicle charging. Pets are not accepted. Guests with reduced mobility should contact the hotel to discuss the entrance route, common areas and bathroom configuration before booking. If travelling with an animal, arrange accommodation elsewhere unless the hotel confirms a policy change in writing.

Check-in is from 15:00 and checkout is by 12:00. Contact reception in advance if you expect to arrive late, need luggage storage or require a cot. Before confirming your stay, compare breakfast inclusion between rates, verify current cafeteria renovation status, ask about parking availability and cost, and confirm any accessibility or family-room requirements. The hotel’s commercial location makes it a useful base for a short urban visit, while Caldea, shopping, museums and mountain excursions provide distinct plans that can be arranged without treating every amenity as part of the room price.
