Shusski Bar is the cafeteria and bar at Apartaments Shusski, an aparthotel on Avinguda de François Mitterrand 83 in Encamp. The building stands beside the Funicamp cable-car access area, at the upper end of the parish town where visitors connect with mountain activities. The operator’s current site presents the food-and-drink facilities under the name La Terrasseta Restaurant and lists a cafeteria/bar service in the same property. Older official information refers to the restaurant and bar as seasonal winter services. Because the naming and seasonal descriptions have changed, visitors should confirm that the bar is open to non-residents on their intended date.

This is a useful stop for a drink or a simple break near the transport and ski facilities, rather than a standalone destination with a separately published attraction programme. The hotel describes its bar as a place to relax after mountain sport or shopping. Its position by Funicamp makes it particularly convenient for guests staying in the apartments and for people moving between the cable car and Encamp. Convenience does not mean the lift is operating: the cable car and the bar have separate schedules, and a restaurant or lodging booking does not include access to the mountain transport.

The food service belongs to the same property. The current operator page lists a buffet breakfast, a set-menu dinner and cafeteria/bar service. Its displayed schedule gives breakfast from 07:45 to 10:15, dinner from 19:30 to 22:00, and the cafeteria/bar from 07:45 to 22:30. Those are the hotel’s published service times, not a promise that the kitchen serves every item throughout the entire day. The older official services page describes buffet breakfast from 08:00 to 10:30 and dinner from 19:45 to 22:00 in winter, and says the bar and restaurant close in summer. These differences appear to reflect an updated schedule or seasonal operation; call the property rather than assuming year-round service.

The operator characterises the winter menu as a mix of international and traditional mountain dishes. The sources reviewed do not provide a complete current menu for the bar, so individual snacks, drinks, prices and dietary options should be checked on site. The hotel’s description of food options for special dietary needs is general; anyone with coeliac disease, a serious allergy or a strict dietary requirement should explain the need to staff and ask how the particular dish is prepared. Do not treat an older menu photograph or a booking-page category as a guarantee of current stock.

The bar is part of a serviced apartment building, not a street-front pub whose independent public entrance and walk-in policy are clearly documented. That distinction matters if you are not an overnight guest. The operator lists a cafeteria/bar among the property services, but the material reviewed does not explicitly state whether non-residents may always use it or whether access is limited during quiet periods. Before making a special journey, call reception at +376 736 888 and ask whether the bar is serving the public, whether food is available and which entrance to use. The same check can establish if there is a reservation requirement or an event affecting access.

Apartaments Shusski is designed for independent stays. The operator describes apartments with a private kitchen, living area, balcony and free Wi-Fi, and lists paid parking subject to availability, ski storage, ski-pass and equipment-rental services, laundry and an electric-car charging point. These belong to the accommodation and are not automatically included with a drink at the bar. Parking is listed at €18 per day subject to availability on arrival, but a visitor should ask reception whether a short bar visit uses the same arrangement. Pets are not accepted in the apartments according to the operator’s current information.

The address places the property along the main road through Encamp toward the mountain sectors. It is close to Funicamp, while the historic centre and other parish sights are farther down the valley. If combining a meal or drink with a lift trip, verify the cable car’s opening calendar and final descent separately, then allow time to return to the building. In winter, snow and cold can affect walking and waiting outside; in warmer months, the bar may follow a different operating season. The street address is more precise for navigation than searching simply for “Shusski,” which can return the apartments, the hotel restaurant or ski services.

The operator’s current page lists cafeteria/bar service from 07:45 to 22:30, but its separate official services information says the bar only operates in winter and the restaurant is closed in summer. The current page also specifies closure periods from 8 to 19 April 2026 and from 3 to 8 November 2026. Since the published details conflict on seasonality, treat the current page as the latest schedule available but verify directly, especially in shoulder season and on the listed closure dates. The seven-day schedule below reflects the current page’s daily hours with that explicit seasonal caveat; it does not establish that the premises are open every week of the year.

There is no separate admission charge for the cafeteria/bar; food and drinks are paid for at the property. The setting is practical for an early breakfast or a drink around a mountain itinerary when service is operating. For a reliable visit, confirm public access, current season, kitchen hours and any dietary request by telephone before setting out. Shusski’s strongest advantage is its location beside Funicamp and its direct connection with the apartment property; the main planning point is to distinguish that convenience from guaranteed year-round walk-in service.
