- QB Cafe, 3 Le Loi St, 052-3824-694. There is both Vietnamese and Western cuisine available, including pizza, pasta, burgers, and chips. Also delicious fruit shakes Offer an English menu. You should compare a Vietnamese menu if feasible.
- Groceries. Along Ly Thuong Kiet, there are two or three supermarkets. At least one contains pricing labels.
- Ocean View Homestay, Truong Phap street, Quang Phu village, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh Province (2km from Dong Hoi airport, 4km from train station), (+84)052 3810 686. They serve excellent Western food, as well as Thai and local cuisine. Romantic place for dining.
- 7th Heaven Restaurant, 39 Duong Van An Street, +0523833856. 10:30 am-9 pm. Specializes in Western cuisine. Claim to serve the best beef steaks in Vietnam, in addition to cheeseburgers, grilled honey-chicken, spaghetti, chicken cordon bleau, ribs, onion rings, and many more dishes. Also available are Thai red or green curries (beef and chicken) and other Vietnamese dishes. The proprietor is an American who is pleasant and helpful, thus English is spoken.
- Red Peppers Restaurant, 35 Truong Phap, 0935455900. 8:00 am-10 pm. Specializes in Western cuisine. They have the best location in Dong Hoi, with breathtaking views, the best Mexican chili in Vietnam, as well as a wide variety of pizzas, Vietnamese chili-chicken, fresh pasta, seafood, draft beer, wine, and more. In addition to a complete English breakfast, there are other Vietnamese and western favorites. The owner is English and is helpful.
- GEMINAI Restaurant, 56 Nguyen Du, +842323938888. 7:00 am-10:30 pm. They have the greatest site in Dong Hoi, with breathtaking river views. Try their outstanding beef steak and chicken cordon bleu. Vegetarian, local cuisine, cold beer, excellent shisha, a variety of cocktails, and more.
