Nightlife in Da Lat
Dalat has an extremely subdued nightlife. It typically begins at 8 p.m., peaks at 10 p.m., and all drinking places are always empty by midnight or 12:30 a.m. at the latest. There are multiple bars mentioned below, however only The Hangout, Beepub, and Alo have more than a handful of patrons.
- The Hangout Bar, 71 Truong Cong Dinh street, next to Peace Hotel. It is mostly recognized as a pub for foreigners and is a fantastic place for travelers to gather. It is located in the backpacker district in the heart of the city. They provide inexpensive cool beer, beverages, a free pool table, board games, darts, a big HD screen television, movies, and free travel advice, as well as an open-air front for people-watching. It features music from a variety of international performers, and tourists can select their own music to listen to. The owner and staff speak excellent English and are eager to give you with any travel advice you may require in Vietnam. Additionally, it is the latest bar open after midnight.
- Beepub, 74 Truong Cong Dinh street, nearly end of the northern end of the street, Beepub is aesthetically pleasing. It appeals to a younger clientele in their twenties and thirties, as well as a diverse collection of locals. Friendly environment with inexpensive beverages. Staff who speak English and are young and vivacious are really helpful and cordial. A DJ plays a range of pop and rock music from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by live music from 9 p.m. till closing, alternating genres (acoustic, pop, rock, oldies) each night of the week.
- Cafe 13, 13 Tang Bat Ho street, Corner of Truong Cong Dinh street & Tang Bat Ho street. This pub is primarily a place to unwind and enjoy a drink with friends, surrounded by a lush garden bar placed beneath the largest avocado tree in Dalat. The room is nearly entirely illuminated by fairy lights, there are plants spread throughout the courtyard, and the walls are adorned with Warhol-esque pictures of pop culture icons who are frequently played on the stereo. Beer costs 15,000 won, while mixed beverages cost 30,000 won (the mojitos are the real deal). Also available are coffee and smoothies (try the mulberry yogurt drink). All the produce is hand-picked locally, and the food is likewise outstanding. The western and Vietnamese fusion menu includes bacon and eggs for breakfast, Thai curries, steak, Pho, and hamburgers.

- Larry’s Bar, 12 Tran Phu (in the basement of the Dalat Palace Hotel). Primarily targets people in search of a more premium environment. Open every night. Larry Hillblom, a philanthropist, controversial American billionaire, and bon vivant, saved the Dalat Palace from oblivion and destruction. As the co-founder of DHL, Hillblom also had an abundance of American dollars to spend. Larry’s Bar is a tribute to Larry’s British heritage. The bar is decorated in the form of a library with dark wood paneling, a pool table, darts, and an abundance of excellent beer and nuts. Excellent spot to unwind after a day of riding or trekking. Currently, January 2011 features happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m.
- V Life – Located at the roundabout at the end of the Dalat night market on Le Dai Hanh street. This fashionable Vietnamese nightclub features bottle service tables and fruit trays. These places charge higher prices than taverns and pubs, but they appeal to customers in search of nightclubs.
- Escape Bar & Cafe – Live music, ranging from country and blues to rock ‘n’ roll and reggae, may be heard at Escape Bar & Cafe, one of the top venues for live music in Da Lat. This pub designed in the 1970s is a five-minute stroll from Xuan Hong Lake. You can enjoy live music from 7.30 pm until late.
The band performs iconic rock songs by the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Radiohead on a nightly basis. After visiting Da Lat, it is an excellent location to rest because the drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is warm and welcoming.

- Le Select Bar -Le Select Bar at Du Parc Hotel Da Lat is an all-day eating establishment with colonial decor, comfy furnishings, and expansive windows overlooking Da Lat City Center. There is a large bar filled with single malt whiskeys, premium wines, and liquors, making it an ideal location for a nightcap.
In addition to the standard drink options such as margaritas, White Russians, and martinis, the professional mixologists are able to create your own unique creation. Le Select Bar serves a variety of coffee, tea, and small snacks during the day.

- B21 Bar – B21 Bar is a local favorite where you can watch the most recent soccer matches on TV and/or dance with a lively crowd till late at night. This small but lively pub is located along Truong Cong Dinh Street, about five minutes’ walk from Da Lat Market. You may discover traditional cocktails such as mojitos, Singapore Slings, and Pina Coladas, in addition to a wide variety of beers on tap.
From 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., all beers and beverages are offered at a buy-one-get-one-free discount. The pub becomes particularly active after 10 p.m., as local DJs spin dance music throughout the night.

- Le Cozy Bar – The Le Cozy Bar of the Dalat Palace Heritage Hotel welcomes affluent tourists wishing to relax after a day of sightseeing. The bar on the first level radiates a romantic ambience with its chandeliers, pale wooden paneling, high chairs by the bar, leather sofas, and French windows overlooking a verdant garden and the surrounding Xuan Hong Lake.
Diners can enjoy a comprehensive menu of cocktails, wines, and spirits, however the rates are greater than those of the majority of Da Lat’s greatest nightlife venues.

- Rain Nightclub Dalat – Rain Nightclub Dalat welcomes vacationing partygoers for a night of dancing in the capital of the Lam Dong province. Even during the week, the club’s location on Le Hong Phong Street allows it to regularly offer vivid light shows and a roster of skilled DJs. Although there is no cover charge, you will be expected to pay for your first beer or soda in advance.
