Velipoje Beach

Velipoje beach is the northernmost beach on the Adriatic Sea near the border with Montenegro. It is 22 km away from the city of Shkodra, Albania.

It is 14 km long. It starts from the mouth of the Buna to the place Ranea E Hedhun. It is a sandy beach in the blue-blue Adriatic Sea.

It is ideal for families, because the sea is shallow. It is quite visited. The rescue service is on duty during the season.

The beach is 4 km long. Water sports are represented. The beach is great for surfing and windsurfing.

The beach is arranged and organized. On the beach there are beach bars, restaurants and you can rent umbrellas and deck chairs.

There are numerous accommodation facilities, hotels and resorts.

Access to the beach is good. The beach can be reached by car. There is a car park nearby.
