The church is a First-Category Cultural Monument. It belongs to the flat-ceilinged basilicas subgroup and measures 19.80 x 11.40 meters within. The center hall is placed in the western section, while the hajati is positioned in the eastern portion. It is split into three naves by two arches supported by stone columns.
The monastery of St. Spiridhon, situated south of Vunoi, is the village’s main church. According to an inscription, the church was reconstructed in 1778 and completely painted in 1784 at the cost of the town residents. The basilica-style church is made up of the hajati, which is contained in the arkada and colonnades, as well as the naos, which is separated into three sections: nepha, altar, and apsida. The whole chapel is full with architectural treasures and paintings. The church was completely restored after the fire that destroyed the whole roof in 1998 and the damage it received in May 2014.
